This feature provides an easy way to make sure your projects conform to the latest SDKs and best practices.Open the issue navigator to see whether anything in your project needs to be updated.
If your code is already Swift 2.2 compliant, the Swift migrator offers you the choice to stay with Swift 2.3.
If you elect this option, it updates only those elements of your code necessary for compliance with the latest SDK revisions instead of updating all the way to the Swift 3 language specification. It is a free download that installs directly into the Applications folder.
The big change is that Xcode is now a standard Mac App Store package which installs directly into the Applications directory.
Previously when you installed from the App Store you rather confusingly downloaded an Xcode installer into the Applications directory which you then ran to install Xcode into /Developer.
(Note that if you are developing for the i OS 5.1 beta release you should continue to use the Xcode 4.3 Developer preview available from the i OS Dev Center.) Once the download is complete you should find Xcode installed in your /Applications folder just like any other App Store application.
